What are you doing for the release?

I personally plan on projecting it on to the side of my barn outside and playing with 2 of my other friends.
I probably won't be going to any of the midnight parties at Gamestop or wherever.
What do you all plan on doing?

Going to school, picking it up on my way home. Play a bit of campaign, work out, come back, dinner, play more...probably finish campaign. Nothing special really.

I was thinking about having a small LAN party if one or more of my friends got it on the weekend of the release.

Hm...Well, I just pre-ordered yesterday, so hopefully I get it on the 25th. I'll probably finish whatever homework I might have before 4PM and then play until my eyes bleed. And if any of my friends get it, Multiplayer over Live. I hope to God my my Xbox gets back from LOLTEXAS before the 25th.

Same, except until Christmas.
My friend's not getting his 360 until then, and I'm buying him H3, to basically repay him for helping me buy my original Xbob.
I'm going to die. ;_; Unless HBO posts the cinematics really soon. Then I'll just watch those.

Yeah, a weekend LAN would be fun; I hope some of my friends, and myself included, get the game beforehand.

I know one of my friends pre-ordered it, but I think that's it. =\
Probably a small party, but I'm definitely inviting a few of my friend over no matter what.
EDIT: And I'm getting it after all the midnight crap, maybe sometime in the late afternoon or evening. That's what i did for Halo 2, so I think it'll work out.

Here is the routine that I plan to follow for September 25th
-wait in line at Hollywood.
-Get halo 3.
-Dance
-Okay halo 3 Co-op& multi-player online.
-play more H3.

Going to school and not playing it for about another year. I always wait a year to play the new Halo's. Don't ask me why.
