ingame or Renders?
ingame or Renders?
My friends is realy being an ass. He thinks the video in the E3 06 for Halo 3 with the giant forerunner structure with master Cheif on a cliff is a INGAME animation. I told him its a render video and i know im right because in E3 06 halo 3 was almost as if they never even started working on it. Then he told me that he saw these pictures in the screenshots sections and thinks its ingame:

I know hes wrong and i know he Knows hes wrong because half the time he always thinks hes right in arguments like this so tell me do you think these are render videos or ingame screenshots.

That is done inside the in-game engine. Also, you linked the same image twice.
2:35-3:00 on the Halo 3 Announce Documentary, have a look. That is really in their engine, it is not a pre-rendered video. However, it is a cinematic sequence, so it's going to be higher quality than gameplay.
Edit: Again at 6:55, "This is the game, this is the engine. This is what Halo 3 is going to look like."
So yeah, he was right, you were wrong.
