So what do you guys think the X button does in halo 3's multi player? I don't even have a clue right now as to what it does.

Shift your body away from a wall?

Prolly like (in gears of war) when you press the A button in gears you go against a wall when you press X button same thing happens in Halo 3 : )

OR, it makes your character run up to enemies and kick 'em squaw in the nuts!

Maybe it's a... command... menu...

Where you would tell your allies what to do, like the LB does in GoW. You know, like attack, regroup, etc.

Maybe it reloads like in all of the halos :O *gasp*

Also, JK-47, it was said somewhere that weapons would be reloaded via bumper.

ah I just got an Idea, maybe a steal weapon or throw weapon at enemy. But its not cover, as they said that it only works in multi player.

Kinda like on doom, I always crack up if my weapon gets stolen or I steal another person's on that game.

That would be awsome on halo.

on yayap, the possibility of a self destruct mechanism was mentioned as an idea of what x does. it could happen.

a "Disarm" button. Where he does a move like what #47 does in Hitman. Or, activates Super Adventure Jetpack.

It's a call button for the wambulance. Really, I read it on bungie.net...

But most logically it seems as it would be to activate something, like a gate or door.
