Do you think there'll be a way to pull the upcoming new maps from a modded 360 to use on the Original?

I think that they will be available on both .

i was thinking the same thing.....i would think so, its got to be .map files and someone will upload them to the net for sure

Yes, the new maps will only be available for download for the 36O but someone with a modded Xbox could just get them off the 360. Then you could just upload it to your Xbox.

You could, however, grab the SATA HD connection kit and copy the maps onto a modded Xbox's hard drive.

Guys, think about it this way though. The first thing that came to mind when i heard they were strictly Marketplace downloads was: " Grab them off the 360 hdd". But what about the people who play halo 2 online with an original xbox? They won't be able to update the playlist for people with an original xbox if they can't get the maps. Meaning they can't seperate their community. So having said that, it's almost obvious they will be making it available to download for the original xbox or make another disc containing these new maps as well.

I think that by "new content" they mean the halo 3 trailer, but I could be mistaken.
