Well I for one have always wanted the elites to have certain abilities the make them unique anlong with the Spartans.

Such as I think it would kick ass to see elites being stronger and having deadly meele attacks and the spartans having Speed and agility

Becuase halo 2 its really easy to pick out the weaknessess for both.

Elites- Big Fat and die quicker.
Spartans- Crappy Grenade throwing and a slower meele attack.

What do you all think.

Crappy grenade throwing? Less quicker melee. They are both equal the grenade throwing speed is exactly the same.

meh not by what i can tell.

And i am talking about grenade accuracy and distance.

Isn't it still the same. I don't like the idea of special abilities it make the game seem too mythical

WTF do yo mean mythical?!?!?! THERE FREAKING ALIENS AND HUMAN MONSTER THINGYS YOU CANT GET MORE MYSTICAL! jeeze and just giving them slight advantages would make the game more interesting

"From the Heavens I shall summon the great prophet of Pizza to help through this battle and use his magical death ray!!!"

Master Chief
"I shall summon the great airstrike that will wipzez youz out bizatch!!!!"

I am not saying make them have super powers.. just give them there advantages they have in the campain.

What makes halo awesome is the fact that every biped is equal. In halo 2 they decided to put elites in multiplayer which was a big mistake because they suck and no one likes them, plus they are easier to kill. It would not work.

I personally found them harder to kill. It's nearly impossible to shoot them in the back of the head.

Same with meleeing them from behind. It wasn't nearly as easy to do in Halo 2 as it was in Halo.

Thats why u shoot them with a Rocket.

Not really. (I have 768p high def, that might make a difference) Or maybe its just that I haven't seen one in a while.
They are so much easier to kill with the smg, because they are bigger. Its knowing how to use your guns that makes halo fun, not choosing which biped you want to use.

There is no such thing as 768p. There is 720p.

First, there is such thing as 768p and second special abilities is not a good idea IMO. It would be too hard for bungie to balance, and I agree with the post above, it is about knowing you're guns not which biped you choose. Also, in Halo 2 I didn't notice a difference between the elite and the spartan. I alternate between the two and I am the same with both. I think people get the idea that they die easier because they play campaign where they kill tons and tons of them like they are nothing. It may also be because sucky people play them more (at least from what I've seen with me and my friends at halo parties).

In halo 2, they are technically "balanced". The only problem(and this even comes from bungie) was that the hit detection was messed up on the elites head. Everything else is perfectly equal. Even the hit detection on the rest of the body. So you're completely wrong Coco.

I for one would not like to see any special powers or any advantages to either of the two or whatever else they put into mp.

It would be kind of cool to have one team be all elites and the other all Spartans, so that way, it's like Human vs Alien kinda thing.

I hope there are only Spartans in multiplayer.
