I agree with Kirk, the placement is a little odd for a halo map, but hey if we fight in old warehouses and towers then by god we will fight on weather platforms in the middle of ******* nowhere.

but seriously just as in my previous post which i went into more detail, the whole feel of th environment will be really interesting to checkout.

-off topic, but i think the map looks more like an isolation than blackout, and isolation looks more **** than anything else :P

Oh.
Still looks like an oil platform.
For that matter, what the hell is a weather station? I find nothing that looks like that at all, anywhere.
Methinks they called it that to avoid insinuating Earth would still have oil in 2552. :wink:

Awesome! :D My favorite map in Halo 2 was Lockout! Now I will have no reason to play Halo 2 on Xbox Live for it now that there will be a Halo 3 version! :D

Very impressive. As already discussed most of us anticipated it would be lockout, but on the visual side I never imagined something like this. It looks amazing.

Anyway, the point people are making about that walkway having the side platforms on the down ramp to the gravity lift...That was in Halo 2. It saved my life many times.

Indeed. And yes, people would occasionally camp there with a shotgun/sword.

Yeah, nobody calls them by those names. Sorry I was so vague.

Actually.. it's probably better they don't remake classic H1 (that's slang for Halo: CE) maps. People wanted Hang 'em High, they gave us Tombstone.

If they were to add any remakes, I would want either Damnation , Chill Out, or Danger Canyon.

I hope they will let you place Power Cores on this map, like they'll let you on Guardian.

What if they let us place walls. Won't that be a gameplay changer?

Also, aren't there new Forge objects per mappack release?

We got walls, boxes, shield doors, and mancannons last release -- what will we get this time? :P
