I really hope there's a hidden way to unlock it though I really doubt it. That kind of annoys me that they'd make a permutation specifically for their employees. Really only for the ones that play and have Xbox Live. Maybe there'll be a download for it later.

They deserve to be the only ones who have it. They made the game, they can do what they want with it. I, personally, hope that they'll let us unlock it somehow, but either way I'm fine with it.

Yeah, I don't want to come out sounding like I'm mad at Bungie or I think they don't deserve it. They made this great game but at the same time, they made a seperate armor permutation for an extremely small minority of people. I think this will probably piss a lot of people off if they realize it.

You're blowing it way out of proportion. It's a freaking armor permutation that makes them unique. How is this such a big deal that people are angry over it? They busted their ass to let you play this game, if they want a minor part just for them, so be it.

I'm on Tural's side here...Are you annoyed at Bungie because they've been working for 3 years on an excellent game that millions of people are enjoying, simply because they add 2 features (flaming helmets and a helmet permutation) which adds no benefits to gameplay, is purely superficial, and isn't even that good a feature exclusivly for themsevles?

I'd understand if say, they added a weapon that only they could use, but for something that does nothing really at all and just shows that you're playing a Bungie employee is just silly IMO.

Don't take this as me not wanting the permutations and the flames myself, but being annoyed at them for it isn't something I'm going to do

I'm not angry...I'm not even remotely annoyed. That's why I made my last post trying to say this because I don't want to come across the wrong way. It's hard to express your opinion through text on an internet forum. I don't think they don't deserve it or we deserve it. I don't care, I just think its a cool looking armor and I'd like to use it, that's all.

Hope this post doesn't come across the wrong way either.

im trying to get all achievements but i dont know if the finish the game on heroic or legendary achievement lets me do it on co-op does it?

anyone else notice when you get every achievement, you get a little box with an antenna on your back?

EDIT: and what happend to the security chest plate? I thought I remembered one in Tural's generator.

The communication box is part of the Security head permutation.

There wasn't a Security chest plate. If I ever had one listed, it was a mistake (There were a lot of mis-namings in the versions before the emblems were implemented).

im not sure if this is true or not but my friend said that there is a mysterious 11th helmet that can be unlocked by beating the game with all skulls activated and legendary

No. The 11th helmet is Recon, which is only available to employees of Bungie. (And those they give it to, I would assume)

oh yeah, I remember now. it was the crappy cache player viewer that said the scout was called security. but thats cool that the security helmet adds that thing to the back.

I don't know, nor do I know if it's even possible. My only guess would be it's linked to their gamertag. In the same way they can have Bungie.net linking cause the Seventh Column logo to appear on a name, they could have it enable an armor permutation for certain people.
