What do you guys think on the halo 3 weapon line up???
mauler: melee distance is definately too far
smg: too much recoil
assualt rifle: not much to say about that. i like it how it is
battle rifle: "
spiker: perfect if you dual wield(to the guy that said he got killed while had dual wield spiker, maybe your aim is off)
magnum: shit at big maps and dual wield is ok...
sl: pretty balanced
trip mine: a bitt weak(also funny if just throw at spawn point. i did once and got a kill that i didn't even know about and went back and watched it. quite funny)
melee: ok...maybe a bit weaker not much tho
forge: fun to have a battle in it, very unexpecting stuff happens(sometimes)also a bit limited or too limit...
gravity hammer: ....
esword: block part of my view and is a dead give away about your position
rocket: =P just like halo 1
missile pod: a bit weaker than i expected
turret: start up is a bit slower than expected
sniper: a bit harder to use than h2 but pretty decent
beam rifle: over heat a bit too much now(from my view)
plasma rifle: effect is pretty same
bruteshot: bigger explosion. you have to be like exactly placed or it's shit
power drainer: never stand next to one. not only it take out your shield but when it explode it'll take you with it =P
flare: I can't see....need larger radius
overshield: can't hurt the damn guy when he just pick it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!
active camo: a bit hard to see(harder) very bad combination with overshield
radar jammer: useful in large games, not so useful in 1 on 1....
bubble shield: hate how floods can just jump in while your shield is recharging other than that pretty useful.
regenerater: prefer it on flood lvls and in close range not very useful against sniper
plasma pistol: thank god for what you did. no more noob combos or less of it
needler: needles a bit faster but damn what an upgrade
warthog: turret slow down vehicle =( very bad if you have someone that doesn't listen to you on the turret
mongoose: a bit in the open...
ghost: yay it's back
wraith/scorpion: about the same is it just me or they slower?
prawler: i prefer the spectre =(
chopper: another ghost =P(not litterally)
plasma grenade: like new explosion and sown when activated
frag: a bit bouncy
spike nade: kind of useless unless is stucked to someone, explosion is pretty small
shotgun: quite deadly, need larger clip.

There needs to be some tweaks on certain weapons against weapons because I find Mauler against Hammer...well like if you MM(Mauler+Melee) Someone with a hammer and you KNOW you did it first and they were late by 1 sec with hammer, they still kill you. It has happened to me countless times.
That is my opinion though. Overall I think the Balance of the weapons in game are about only 75% Good.
As for Bubble Shield blocking vehicles...maybe certain ones..like maybe just Ghost and the rest is ok because really it is hard to splatter in the Mongoose because the front end is so tiny while the Ghost front end kind of engulfs. Warthogs...eh just jump. Banshees? Like someone is going to splatter you that close to the ground so often. Unlike Halo 1 the Banshee has been limited in 2 and 3. Which is a duh no brainer.

That's mostly due to networking.
