Man, that's awesome how detailed and interactive it is. Those pictures are fucking amazing. Hmmmm hmm. Grunts choking marines, jackals carrying off marines, brutes being brutes.

Yes he is totally kicking ass, lifeless, in the arms of a Brute. I am sure he kicks ass after he awakes from the Brutes kiss of course.Dissolution241 wrote:Man, that's awesome how detailed and interactive it is. Those pictures are *** amazing. Hmmmm hmm. Wow, why did I say that? Honestly, I have no idea how that part managed to get in there. But I just completed the 'tour' through the battle field and those Brutes look godly. I don't really care for the look of the ones in the 'minor armor', they look a lot like Ork(orcs?) to me, but the ones with the head dresses and hammers are awesome.

You mean holding an activated plasma grenade in his hand Pyro? He obviously can't lift a hand like that if he were unconcious...Either that or my version is different ;p
It says he allowed his own capture to turn the tide of battle....That'll be interesting for h3

He's indeed holding a plasma grenade, and in some of the videos he raises his head, but he's clearly being held off the ground by that Brute. I'm sure he's going to pull some uber "ninja out of the grip and kill everything surrounding him" thing...but the situation doesn't look pretty from that one frame.ScottyGEE wrote:You mean holding an activated plasma grenade in his hand Pyro? This frame doesn't look too good. There's the best vantage point for the brute holding our dear friend, the MC.
Unfortunately, the screenshot doesn't show that the plasma grenade is glowing.
The MC won't be earning the POW medallion, so don't expect him to be captured in the game.
That was one truly amazing piece of work, however. Amazed there wasn't a single elite on either side. I at least expected a "first person account" from an Elite or a 360 view of one or something... Oh well, only time will tell. Can't wait to A) Play the game and B) Watch those other new videos when they come out.

I mean... this is probably the most intense thing I've ever seen about a video game. It does an amazing job of emotionally pulling you into the story. I want to play!!

Frankie said it's not really canon with the game, but come on, they can't have a diorama with the main focus being the MC getting captured purposely to turn the tide on the battle.... if it doesn't actually happen in the game, can they? Just think it's kind of weak.I asked Frankie about the concept, if they were worried about the reaction it would get from fans of the game. If people might think the ads are spoilers. He said that the ads were created by a marketing team who had no idea how the game ends and that it is not meant to be part of the game's canon. Instead the ads, specifically that 1200-square-foot diorama created for them, is meant to be a generic representation of a series of battles, perhaps a level's worth in Halo 3.

well these guys made a different ending to halo in there own point of veiw and heres something to think about. If this war was real and we were realy looking back at the war like that if they choose that scene as a memorial dont you think it may be his last moments if that scene was so important and that old guy even said that when he was arming his gernade he was on the turret of a flipped warthog so this may have been a moment of great importance something either happens when he and that brute died or something REALY kick @$$ happens when he does his "kill everyone around him with a stick or something" move but still this is just something epic to have a memorial of the big MC in his last moments and or awsomeness.
