There is no RTS mode. That was an example of a game variant people could play.latinomodder wrote:I believe that is just when you play rts mode (or something like that)
You only have a limited amount of money to buy things with, when you run out, you can't buy any more. It's always like that in Forge. You can't have an infinite amount of items.
EGM wrote:You only have a certain spending limit before you can't "buy" any more objects for the level, though.

Oh yeah, should probably mention that the budget and cost of items in forge is in $ and that it doesn't cost very much to place objects. At least in the IMAX preview, you had about a $200 budget, a Scorpion cost $20, Shotgun $2.
And in relation to the article, that's awesome that you can set up checkpoints to create your own Race gametype.

Unleash the Fucking Wolves
you could do that in the beta, but you could only do it on high ground and snow bound because you couldn't place new powerups, only edit the existing.antszy101 wrote:I beleive that in the 2006 Halo 3 EGM, they mentioned custom powerups, but cool all the same.
At first I thought Forge would ruin the game, but now I think it will be great
