Have you been keeping up with Halo 3 info at all? They put the assault rifle back into Halo 3 with some changes.

so they had a battle rifle in halo 3, then changed it? What I meant was, I thought I saw a battle rifle from a certain angle in a pic, then saw an assault rifle in a different one.

and I'm not talking about the gun being lame. It's the name of the gun......."laser" the marketing department comes up with better names..

Edit: The Battle Rifle and Assault Rifle are both in Halo 3.

I must agree, the names of new crap are very uncreative. You have, the spartan Laser, man cannons, brute ghosts and Spikers. Not very creative if you ask me. But I think the spartan laser with be awesome in combat. Btw Has anyone seen an elite in any of the screens. I think they might not have it in multi player, hopefully that would also mean not playing as the arbiter,and more MC awesomeness.

Yeah I was thinking about that, it's just a shame that they never impliment the real names into the game. "You have picked up the S2AM" doesn't sound too bad does it?
