Slowly Been reading the whole thread.... Pretty pictures shows so much potential... i ar lub modded marps :)
Also the normal pictures are in extreme! Quality are they HD?

The pictures I usually take are on my 52inch 1080i HD TV, then I touch them up a bit in photoshop.

Wow, lol im currently using a 21" LCD made by LG :(

Soon to be replaced by a 32" Samsund HD Tele :D

All pictures taken ingame are high definition. It's standard for H3 pictures.

Wow it's been a while since I was involved in the modding community ha ha. Well my account was deleted if I had to guess a while ago from inactivity but recently I revisited some CONsigned maps and knew exactly where to go. Now since you are taking requests I think it would be cool to see a few things.
1. A ridiculous amount of vehicles? (I saw a lot of trees I think vehicles is plausible)
2. Bipeds in vehicles? (I'm not so sure about this one if it is even possible right now but it doesn't hurt to ask.)

Flaming of me can ensue but it's nice to come back to see the modding community still thriving. Good job guys!

I remember before Halo 3 came out people thought Forge would allow you to change the time of day. Obviously that wasn't the case. With that said, night time on High Ground, with moon in sky. :p Not sure if you guys can do something like that yet but it'd be hawt. Even more hawtter if the moon glowed on the surface below. :p

So, if you can't add new stuff into the maps, then that must mean that the Troop Hog is already in there, as well as the Anti-Air Wraith, right? So, if that's true, then you could make a Forge variant that has Transport Warthogs and Ammo (Rocket Ammo, Needler Ammo, etc.), right?

If so, then I have a suggestion for a map.
-It would be on Valhalla
-No AI bots (they mess up the game when there's a lot of them, and you can't have a real game)
-The Covenant floating sniper towers (the ones in the Campaign where the Snipers sit) around the map, maybe 2-3 of them.
-A Troop Hog spawns at each base (I know you can't really go in the back, but it would be cool to have there)
-Some Rocket ammo spawns at 2 different spots on the map, just like in Coagulation
-There are some Rockets, one at each base.
-A Gauss Turret spawns on the elevated platform beside the Man Cannon at each base
-Some more trees around the map, but not too many, so you can still drive around without bumping in to stuff.
-Be creative, but keep it balanced

If you did this, it would be the first balanced modded map out there that could actually be played in a real game.

That fish did nothing to deserve such a fate.

And for MasterChief, who wanted a different sky for daytime/nighttime, that's not possible yet. You'd have to inject either a custom sky, or one from a different map, and that's not yet possible. Veegie may have mapped out some lightmap stuff, but a dark lightmap with a light sky = bad.

That would be cool but unfortunately only some of it would be possible like the trees, rocket ammo, and the gauss turrets. There is no covenant watch towers in Valhalla and You can only spawn the troop turret not the whole hog so neither of those can be done right now.

By turret do you mean the back of the troop? Do troops have turrets? :shock:

Master Chief felt like going fishing, but he didn't have a fishing rod. So, that was the only option left.

All right, but it would be nice to see a modded map that would work well for a real game. If you can only spawn the turrets, does that mean that you could spawn the vehicles without them? Because it would be interesting to have a map full of vehicles without turrets (I know this is possible with a glitch, but wouldn't it be easier with modding?).

They're treated as turrets. Don't take it literally.

Sorry, I haven't been keeping up with this and I don't know too much at all about the modding process. Can you swap items that can be spawned in Forge? For instance, swap out an item that is in the Scenery section for a tree. I don't recall if that's how you made that map of Valhalla with all the trees. If so, can you spawn, move, rotate, etc. in game?

Hopefully you can understand what I'm saying, I realize it might be hard to interpret.

If it was placed originally in forge, you'd think, but I don't know how the trees interact after it has been swapped. In other words, I believe that the items were placed as something different (i.e. a barrel), then after it was placed in forge it was swapped to a tree. Therefore, the game sees it as a treeish thing and therefore not forgeable.

I'd like to see some unicode edits, if it's possible yet.

Such as, you pick up the rocket launcher, and it says, You just picked up the SPNKr. Or, something like that.

^^ I think that's "unicode"...
