Ok, I have no idea if anyone has said this but...
At the end of Halo 3 the chief is put into stasis. As the Pillar of Autumn is falling towards that planet you see a massive blue light flash.
Now that light (I'm thinking) could be Regret jumping. And when you look at the last drop pod (So we think it's a ODST pod), I can see a window on it, could that possibly be the chiefs cryo chamber he was in?

What..? Your timeline there is just...So wrong it doesn't even make sense. Regret jumping at the end of Halo 3? No, that was New Mombasa in Halo 2... Just what the hell are you trying to say?
edit: wtf, PoA was destroyed in Halo 1! ARE YOU HIGH?!

Yeah, no. That is not what is going on. I was about to write out a large post explaining why that is not only impossible, but so illogical that I'm surprised you even posted it, but I feel like anyone else reading this will know that it is wrong in every way, and I don't need to explain it to them, so I'll just stick with "no."

snap, snap sir. That theory sounds like it came right out of a 1980's science fiction. Good show!Ghostlypickel wrote:Lol sorry I forgot the name of the frigate.
I'm saying he went back in time sort of....
Because of the explosion from the Ark it opened another dimension, the arbiter ends up on earth and the chief ends up somewhere else.

Not to mention that if this "theory" were correct, there would be so many continuity errors that you would just sit, staring at the screen, asking if Bungie is retarded. Furthermore, this expansion is very clearly set on Earth primarily, so your "theory" about Chief going back in time is completely irrelevant to the story being presented in the video. Your claims are illogical, riddled with fallacies, and irrelevant to the story they are showing. There is no basis whatsoever to support that. It would just not make sense at all. Believe whatever you want, but this discussion isn't going to take place here, because it doesn't make any sense and has no basis in logic or reason.

I kindly suggest you re-read some of the other theories.SHOUTrvb wrote:Don't listen to Tural. I for one believe that your theory is quite possibly one of the most logically thought out things I've ever heard.
It seems to me that Bungie is trying to appeal to the crowd that was disappointed with Halo 2's and Halo 3's campaign. The new campaign will have players fighting in New Mombasa; many criticized Bungie for the lack of metropolitan fighting in Halo 2. Players will most likely also end up fighting Elites, which many people missed from Halo 3.
Edit: Epic sarcasm detection fail?

You sarcastic stallion.
Personally, I am besides quite excited for whatever Bungie's cooking up right now. It's nice to have a little break from Master Chief' story, but I'd really be beside myself if we were treated to a new IP.
Oh well, little steps.

Look, we're not continuing on halo 3 with master chief, its what tural is saying where its after h2 before/during h3 with an ODST guy (or marine or whatever)
and STOP referring to the books, they aren't the actual story, its an author telling a main idea that Bungie gave to them and said "Be Creative" or something, so technically we don't know if there is a Dr. Halsey, a time-traveling crystal, or anything explained in the stories, because we have no fucking idea if its what bungie told them in the main idea, bungie only gave a minimalist story, and let the author improvise.

Did you even read the thread? Nick already told you that you were wrong once.guysullavin wrote:and STOP referring to the books, they aren't the actual story, its an author telling a main idea that Bungie gave to them and said "Be Creative" or something, so technically we don't know if there is a Dr. Halsey, a time-traveling crystal, or anything explained in the stories, because we have no *** idea if its what bungie told them in the main idea, bungie only gave a minimalist story, and let the author improvise.

That's nice.
You have zero evidence to even support that as a theory.
There was significant evidence to support the idea of it being the Ark, direct evidence from Bungie.
Your claim is baseless, ours was set in direct evidence.
The situation is not the same, and the only purpose of bringing it up is to instigate a conflict and call out other people.
Unfortunate that your comparison has as little merit as your setting.

I said ive seen you lot be wrong therefore i wont jump on the bandwagon untill i see some mild proof that it is earth.
Alot of places on earth are simular due to engineering designs.
And seeing as the UNSC has a large empire of planets it would seem a little unusual to not atleast visit one other human inhabited world.
I do love how you have a penchant for bringing accusations of instigations out the dark place though.
Well, I can't stop you from being ignorant. However, there is overwhelming evidence to support it being Earth, and none, at all, to suggest that it isn't. Sorry you can't accept information shoved in your face by Bungie. This thread isn't for random, baseless theories. If you have nothing legitimate to support your claim, don't bring it up here.
New Mombasa, Africa, Earth. Left side.
Space elevator. Traxus.
Only exists on Earth.
If you say it is not on Earth, you are deliberately trying to cause a problem.
It's such an established fact that it isn't even argued from any once-logical individual.
I'm pretty sure that "City Of New Mombasa" means that it's in the city of New Mombasa. JUST A HUNCH BRAH
