The Bungie Updates Thread
What about the scratched discs in the limited edition?
Microsoft with fine folks? I'm not believing it. Oh well, at least there is something on it.SketchFactor wrote:This has been addressed in the launch week FAQ. As far as we know, the Microsoft team is sending out replacement discs for anyone who received a damaged one initially. Instructions and details can be found at Xbox.com. We realize this has been an issue for some of you but unfortunately there's nothing that we (Bungie) can personally do. However, the fine folks on the MGS support team are doing their best to help everyone out as fast as they can.

This deserves a bump.
In addition to the customization the Forge currently offers, DLC maps include the ability to place Mancannons (with varying trajectories), a couple of different sized Shield Doors and some vehicles will see a variety of tweaks.

and why would you say this? say for example they come out with a large snow themed level, something like ice fields or sidewinder. wouldnt it be a little more fitting to have a snow hog variation on there, at least for aesthetic purposes? you'd think with the unsc's apparently infinite resources they would have more vehicles pertaining to their surroundings. plus they already added in the troop hog permutation. i think this time around in DLC we'll be seeing a lot of different stuff.Tural wrote:That would be most unappealing.
still just a thought, doesnt hurt to speculate.bungie update wrote:There are a couple of still-secret, still-in testing adjustments and changes that come to classic Halo vehicles. To say that these changes are the intersection between hysterical and tactical would be a pretty drastic understatement.

I'm glad they are adding more scenery for us to play around with. Man cannons and Shield Doors sound fun!Bungie wrote:In addition to the customization the Forge currently offers, DLC maps include the ability to place Mancannons (with varying trajectories), a couple of different sized Shield Doors and some vehicles will see a variety of tweaks. Other less risque changes coming to vehicles include environment-specific decals being applied to vehicles and certain vehicles have had their weapon systems modified so that they behave differently in multiplayer combat.
