Can't get the merged parts to work right. Help?

I am trying to use the interlocking method shown on forgehub and what others use. Here is what I am doing then maybe you can find what I am doing wrong.

I am spawning a single box.
I then set it to spawn at beginning: no
I then save game and then end game.
I then come back to the game but the box is still there.

Why is the box still there?

When I do this with a crate that is movable but use the knock it out of the way method it doesn't work. I will place one. Move it by knocking it out of the way. I will place the next crate in that area. When I save game and end it and come back they have pushed each other out of the way.

I don't know what to do. My xbox is odd maybe. Anyone know what to do or if they are running into this problem?

You set the respawn rate on the single box to the amount of time that you need to place the other object. I usually use 20-30 seconds.

Then, you set spawn at start to no.

Then, you hit Start > Start New Round.

Then, place the object where the single box was and then in 30 seconds (or whatever time you set it to) then single box will spawn and will be interlocked.

Then, you hit Start > Start New Round.

Remember this. Don't end the game, then start new game. I think that was what your main problem was.

Thank you guys. It works now. Some scenery such as the barricades are such a pain to merge. I was hoping to play around with the apc hog.
