Banned from playing custom content

Well every time I try to play a game with a custom game or one I have made, I get a message saying "You can not continue because 1 or more players in your party(Me) has been banned from playing with custom content". Is there any way I can fix this and fast??? Also I have a gold membership 1 year prepaid, and I have no parental controls.

That's a parental control setting. There isn't any other solution as far as I know, as I know there is a setting specifically restricting custom content. Have you double-checked that there isn't a parental Live ID tied to your gamertag and that your setting is set to enabled?

Ill keep checking, but the wierd thing is that it only started a week or two ago. But I could play content fine befor. Is there any specific place I should look for these blocks?

Should just be System tab of the dashboard, then the Parental Controls area. If a parental account is linked, it should prompt you. If not, it should let you access the settings where you can see what it's set to.

Well, I checked everywhere and I have no controls set at all. Any other ideas

Well, I see no reason to e banned from a custom game. Have you been boosting or anything against some type of TOS. I know that M$/bungie can take away privilges from you if you do things that makes them angry

No I havent eve played in a long time, my friends play but I dont let them use the mic. Plus this occured way befor that too.

Yea I got banned from H2 matchmaking for no reason at all!
I am not kidding, I never boosted, sweared or cheated in any fashion.

Considering I couldn't play matchmaking anymore on that old xbox, me and my bro decided to mod the box. And right there my modding career started

Haha funny how MS pushed me to the modding scene for no reason at all lol.

PS: never used that box for online gaming anymore, so didn't do any live modding.

Uh, was that relevant in any way?

The only thing I could guess is a parental block or control. It doesn't sound like something that would happen if you broke the TOS.

If they use it then maybe they did something that that could make this happen. But you can try calling XBL support but, I doubt they will be able to help you out with this.

Well I just poped in Skate, and guess what it says im banned from content in that too. So I guess its time I give microsoft another call

Now correct me if i am wrong, I have a friend who is 19 but the age on the windows Live ID he had a 16 old account. He couldnt download anything that was m because of the new fall update. but as you said you this just stared happening.
