Bungie removing players EXP?

As of 10:33 AM I have apparently be demoted and had some of my EXP removed by Bungie.

I'm guessing it is just a bug in the system, but I thought I'd let everyone else know in case they wanted to check out their ranking.

I had a lot of XP removed yesterday and today. I thought it was due to lagging out of games, but hopefully it's just a bug. (Today's XP was removed without me even playing a game)

If you quit a game, it removes your EXP.
I know that's not what you were asking / saying, but if you lag out then it takes EXP away as well.

If you look at the picture I've only quit one game (EXP Penalties: -1). Yesterday I was a Captain; today I am a Gunnery Sergeant. I haven't played at all since then. It's obviously a glitch of some sort.

Woah, wow. You have to have 100 EXP to get Captain and you have it ... but you now have 64 exp? wtf, I have no clue. Yes, obviously a phail on Bungie's end.

Wow I just noticed this. This sucks. I just got my captain last night and now I'm down to a gunnery sergeant. Just found this:

In case you weren't aware, many people are/were having issues with a few days worth of games showing on their service record.

Bungie is (apparently) working on their files and cleaning things up. No EXP is lost, no history is lost, the only thing effected is what displays in your profile on this site. If your game history on the console is up to date, then you are fine.

Next time, don't assume that the world is out to get you. Unless you have a guilty conscience or something? *grin*
