Thats because 1: They were on Delta Halo with a ship that had some newer technology and 2: They weren't near Earth, to get the old school AR, now he is and like the MC I prefer the old one to the new one in some situations, I think they should still have both, oh man that would be so cool in MP.
I Could of Swarn there were some Earth Missions...
At the beginning yes, but if you read the books they were testing the new weapons systems.

I can say I have read all the books. (good books actualy) I remember when the MC first got a Battle Rifle. He was in the cave (when the other spartans were alive) and he used his secret whistle to get them to let him in. After that, Dr. Halsey pretty much just gave it to him =p So, he pretty much could've gotten an old Assault rife, but he didn't .

I pray to god they bring back the old shotgun as well. I like the new one ok, but the old shotgun was just 'so' much better.

Trick question, I don't believe they had a set hand signal. Of cource my memory is a tad rusty, but I'm pretty sure they didn't have a set signal.

Freaking Linda was the best.
Hiding on the Covenant ship, sniping while Kelly, MC, and others ran for their life... ahh! What I am coming to?!

The good thing about it is that it is such an anticipated game, that I think fan boys (and girls) will be willing to wait if it is delayed. Though I sure hope it doesn't.

Also, I sure hope that no retarded employee will leak it early.

By the way, the 'secret signal' they use is a downward curve representing their happiness to others, as they cannot see one another's faces.

It was basically between MC and..Grace?...anyways it was just two fingers across where their mounths were. They did it to say they were smiling because they couldn't see each others faces. Actually if I remember right they did it on the other person's face....

BTW: Not only did I read all 3, but I still have/own them as well :P

If you noticed, insane, I said that I was almost sure they didn't have one, and I was right. So there! And yes, I remember the cool happy signal and all. (I have the box with all 3 :) )

I wonder if they'll have a love story in book 4, they almost did in the fall of reach.

I bet that Halo 3 will come out about the same time as the movie...well depends on if they're already filming it.../me shrugs.

I heard they are planning on releasing it close to when H3 comes out, but thats just what I hear you know how the internet its :roll:
