[Video Tutorial] Modeling a modular level piece

So yah, since nobody else has made a decent map modeling tutorial I did. I only modeled a small piece, but it still filled up about three freaking hours of video. I think I explained everything well, but the noobs have to determain that.

The video is 400mb, sorry. I tried everything to make it smaller without crapping up the quality, but this was as small as I could get it. It took 2 days to compress this video, so I REALLY don't want to split it up into smaller videos. Enjoy. (yes, I know my voice fails)

i only watched about 10 or 15 minutes but it looks like this tutorial will answer a few huge questions i've been wondering about 3ds max.

all i can say is wow. you flew through that level in a couple hours without hardly faltering at all. and you gave some good strong tips that im sure i will find very useful. thanks for a great tutorial, the best one Ive seen so far.

p.s. how did you get so good at this? is modeling your actual job? did you take any college classes? or did you just play around with the program on your own and get good through practice?
