Gravemind 1.5 Re-Fixed

Post by grimdoomer »

Well it's been a long time since I posted anything for Halo 2 VIsta. So I decided to roll out an update. I crap load of things have been fixed, but even more crap is still broken. I don't know the most important part of the map file, the padding scheme. Without that I can't properly add new data to the map.

Gravemind Beta v1.5
Image

Fixed
- Meta Editor - It now loads a lot faster, can view every tag properly, including bipd, weap and vhic.
- Bitmaps are now working, you can preview and extract every bitmap, you can also inject, though it may not load the map due to me now knowing the correct padding scheme.
- Sounds are now previewable, you can preview and extract almost evey sound, there is one type I have yet to figure out, and injection does not work, same prob as bitmaps.
- There is a Decorator viewer, although it too does not work.
- Gravemind can now open Multiplayer maps, yes thats right, too bad there is nothing worth editing in them.
- Auto Update system

Warnings
- Tag Builder still broken
- Chunk clonner unfinished
- BSP View does nothing
- Collision Viewer broken

Notes
- You must configure your settings, by clicking the Settings button.
- Although it is not required it is recommended you resign all maps.
- Tag Building is still in its "Experimental" form and will cause your maps to not load.
- Only internal raw offsets and sizes are displayed.
- Gravemind will alert you on any updates.
- Please enjoy!

Gravemind will be open source sooner or later, but first, if you can help me with the padding scheme, please do.

Along with this app I give you my resignation from HaloMods. I will still continue doing what I do, just not here. You can keep up with everything I do at www.grimsplace.net, or remnantmods.com.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Will someone help me?!
