Ok I have both versions of halo 2, but I have not played the pc version yet. I have seen some comparison of H2 Xbox & H2 PC, but none of them are very good & mostly exagerated. So can some one please show me a real side by side comparison of graphics between the two? Thnx, peace! (^_^)

Halo 2 Xbox on the Xbox 360. PC game graphics are very poor when compared to console games.

I see.. I like how the vista version looks. It does have higher resolution textures & that's what I like.

The thing about H2V is it needs a stupidly high spec computer to run it without lag...

Graphics.
but depends what graphic cards you have.
Not to mention a map maker and to play custom maps online without getting banned

The graphics aren't really that much improved over the xbox, but the map making ability is nice.

Overall no the graphics havent improved, but if you look closely they are higher resolution and clearer. Also from far away things so get "culled" out because the PC can handle it (move about 40 feet away and halo 2 xbox starts culling, halo 2 vista more like 400)

I can give you a more technical comparison, but it might not mean anything to you.
Bitmaps are compressed, BSPs no longer use magics, map loading has been optimized, Crazy was 86'd, mp maps are very protected, the map checksum is no longer checked on loading, Resource tags are just reflexives found in the scenario, one out of two sound formats has changed, and thats about it I think.
