how do i add a montier to a map

hi i was going to try and make a map but before i do is it possiable to have a machine like the montier in backwash in a map.

the monitor is an ai on the map with sound, effects, dialog, actual model, bitmaps

there should be one of these for every category so getting ahold of these tags and guerilla you could put this into a multiplayer map (it would take a while but is not impossible, although there would be no way to kill it, it would require modding to a tag that i have no knowledge of, if that is what you are thinking

(i.e. a gun range style map, at the other end of the map lies these annoying sound balls of light, wait, there monitors, everyone wips out there br's and the firing doesn't stop)

If you want it to move then yes it has to be AI

The monitor on Backwash does not utilize AI, it is a scripted object.

I believe what tural is trying to say is that (correct me if im wrong) the monitor is part of the actual map backwash, not the geometery but sort of part of it (confused myself) :?

I thought it meant that its a scripted object so that it just changes its coordinates. And if you do it with a marine, it would just be screwy?

When I referred to it as scripted, I did not mean it is necessarily a script, just that it is a static event, not dynamic as is AI. Don't read too much into that.

It's actually a machine that, as Tural stated, is scripted to move in a circle around the level.
