Running on widescreen

Hey guys, i just bought a new widescreen and i wanna play the game with full screen is there a way to make halo 2 resolution fit b/c there arent any wide screen options.

I'm not sure if these commands would work with H2V, but you could try adding

-width [screen width in pixels] -height [screen height in pixels]

after your shortcut to H2V and see if that works. Or if that doesn't work, you could use 3dAnalyzer (google it) and use force windowed mode and resize it to fit your screen.

Then again, I don't have H2V, so I don't know if these will work.

Have you gone through the resolutions? I'm sure there are widescreen resolutions because i have a widescreen monitor.

I'm using a widescreen, I'm presented with 1680x1050; 1440x900 and 1280x720. No 848x480 or 720x480 for those weaker systems, though. :<
