we need to make our own halo 2 vista CE,hmt and maps

he fellow modders now i've been thinking if we want more maps and a tool like hmt then we have to do it ourselves and the reason bitter banan and everyone else who made maps and the tools aren't helping is because they don't want to upgrade to vista yet so who's with me

I'm not saying your wrong and itd be nice to see all those tools and maps come to life but the reason that all this isnt getting done is because even HMT and all of that took plenty of time . we dont really know what those guys are working onbut if you think about it not everyone has several hours to devote to coding and things anymore... some of us do but well you know what i mean. It is a good idea to try to make something interesting and creative but vista isnt the only thing stopping people from doing such.

I bet if someone makes a tool like HMT, MS is gonna patch it so it no work anymore.

HMT is the greatest H1 tool. For noobs. Its not really modding its just noobing. It's fun to make a noobed map but the problem lies with the online function on H2V. I think it would ruin the game not to mention the whole achievements thing.
I do like custom maps though. So model away.

why would MS patch it they didn't make a patch for halo pc when we made HHT or HMT

Because Ms is lazy? I donno. Maybe it's because you get ranked in h2v or stats or whatever and you could use it for cheating.
