STILL no proper trainers???

Why hasn't anyone figured out how to hack this game (offline) properly? I mean, the Vista trainers don't have any effect on guns you're dual-wielding, and the only XP trainer is some crippled thing from gamehacking.co.uk that they want to sell the full version of.

There should also be a way to enable skulls, and/or give yourself the Scarab Gun on levels that include it.

It's not that easy dude, if you think it is so easy then try to make a trainer of your own THAT works.

There's no real discussion. You just made a thread that is against the rules, complaining and proving you can't beat a level without some skulls and a scarab gun. And seriously, if you want cheats so much that you make a whole thread about it, hack it yourself.

FYI, most of the skulls make the game HARDER, not easier. I beat the Xbox version on Legendary with Thunderstorm activated, if you must know. I'd like to have some fun cheating on it now that I'm done busting my balls. Is that so much to ask!? Most PC games get trainers with these basic types of hacks within a reasonable amount of time. I can't see how Halo 2 doesn't have enough of a fan base for someone to hack it right. Although, there seems to be very little modding progress too. I'd love to see all the Warthogs replaced by Gauss hogs. There's always so many warthogs, and almost no gauss to speak of. Same on Halo 3, and it pisses me off.

I agree with cryticfarm on this one. If you can't beat the game on legendary it's not because you need a trainer, its because you need to play in on an easier setting.

I don't know what skulls are but i'm sure i would prefer skills. There more helpful online.

hackin h2v is harder, it has protection. thats why when i try to make a hack, it crashes...

Of course, I hate to make a post like this but...
I have made H2DevTrainer and it has quite a few features, which work in both Vista and XP...but its not finished yet and I have very little time to work on it

heres a post I made earlier:

Resolution Hack (allows any resolution, althgh I forget what happens if you pick a strange resolution in fullscreen)
Deathless Player
Infinite Grenades
Bottomless Clip
Infinite Plasma
No Overheat
Superjump (adjustable height)
One Shot Kills
Any Skull Activator/Deactivator
Time Freeze (except you can walk through characters..also, it will freeze any other "players" (i.e. online players)...Experimental Time Freeze allows you to also drive vehicles, although sometimes colliding with other vehicles causes them to come to life and for you to get stuck)
Physics Freeze (Great fun! No Gravity, or friction...doesn't affect you...very easy to send objects flying...also Experimental Physics Freeze is the same as above)
Save Checkpoint at anytime
Wireframe (which I guess i won't implement lol)

It also works in Vista and XP, and should work with any version of Halo2v...even future versions.

The game does not crash in Vista when the cheats are activated.

The following features are also a possibility:

Other shot modifiers (e.g. shoot players to change their team, freeze them,make them fly up to the top of the level)
"Shoot" possesion (shoot someone to possess them)
Save/Load player's position in a level
No Shooting
No Scripts? (nothing is spawned etc.)
No AI (enemies just stand there)
Glare light effects do not dissapear (looks impressive)

also there are one or two trainers available online (for a price) but of course I don't recommend them (simply because they cost money)

I hate to burst your buble as of right now wit hthe tools we have out it only works for xustom maps..... not singleplayer which i beleive is what your looking for.
