map ideas

i'd like to know for me and others what would be a good idea/theme for a map.... i had a few ideas, i want to build a large warehouse with racks that you can weave your way up and through around the boxes. i think that'd be awsome for ctf, slayer, really anything, and it wouldnt be a hard map to make, just a couple days of work.. input please cuz i'm gonna start creation, you think it would be an alright idea????

Hmm...yeah, sounds like it would be cool. All those boxes as scenery could be challenging, especially if a few well placed grenades could easilly block off a path. Just implement it, and make it look interensting with walk ways and stairs. It kind of reminds me of that one area in the first Half-Life game where you get ambushed by those 3 robot ninja guys.

i was having more problems with my warehouse map than i thought so i gave up on that for the time being.. it was too much trouble but i'm downloading a couple 3ds max training videos that i'm sure will help me understand the program 500% more. i'll make some awsome maps in the next couple months believe me, i'm a very dedicated person.. anyone want a copy of the video or have any use for it let me know and i'll hook you up..
p.s. i'm sure my next map will suck less than my last, it has 2 levels with many structures and its large but not too large.
one problem i'm having is making bridges off walls that go around them. i dont have the slightest idea how to do it.
