Can't connect to Windows LIVE

Whenever I try to connect to LIVE, it goes for about 5 seconds, the comes up with a message saying "Disconnected from LIVE"
My Interent works, becuase I can connect to the interent, and I could connect about a week ago. If anyone has any suggestions, please leave them here.

one question that really matters. did you install vista clean or overtop your old operating system??????? if you installed on a clean partition i do not know if you installed over xp thats your problem cuz i had the same problem...

I installed it on a Vista clean OS, becuase it was a new comp that came with Vista.

Yeah, mine stopped working randomly 3 days ago after I logged in Windows Live Messenger.

Interesting. Might be a conflict with something.

hu... i have a problem once in a while where i cant log onto xbox live or this site but when i reboot my computer the problem goes away.. i'm sure you woulndt have messed with the settings in halo, it could be firewall related or you have another program hogging the port. other than that i cant imagine what the problem could be..
