Ram: 1GB (Soon to be upgraded to 2GB) DDR2

It should be fine once you upgrade the RAM.

It will run fine. 1Gb of ram will suffice. I have 1 Gb. 1.5GB would not hurt though.

1GB of RAM will do. I've got 1GB RAM and I'm running it just fine, but if you do experience some lag or long loading times try increasing your pagefile size, I've noticed that the game likes pagefile, oh and remember to defrag your files and closing all your programs that are running in the background while playing.

That looks great. 1GB of RAM will be fine, and if you upgrade to 2GB you'll have no problems at all.

hey, I'm new here, and my brother has halo 2 vista, and I was wondering where to find a halo 2 vista emulator. I dont care if its bad or not, it will be like a beta.

An emulator? If you mean running Halo 2 on XP. That is ILLEGAL, No one on HaloMods will give you any information on running Halo on XP.

It's not illegal, but it wont be discussed for the time being. And I don't think that's what he meant anyway.

Nowhere did he say that. You're assuming his meaning when he hasn't clarified.

I think he means he wants a DVD image of the game to use with alcohol or daemon tools, that is all I'm going to say about the subject and will NOT elaborate on it.

And back to the subject at hand. Your comp should run it fine after you upgrade one thing, your direct x version .. a.k.a. upgrade to vista.. after you upgrade your ram your comp will be better than mine except for my video card"s". lol. atleast till i buy my processor for the comp i've been building for the last 2 months. you'll be strait..

And dont make fun of someone who don't know what he's talking about totally. I think we can all assume he means emulator as a way to run it on xp and we may all be wrong, but he dosen't know its not a subject thats allowed here... I bet nobody will hear from him after all the flaming but if he comes back your bro needs to upgrade to vista for it to run good otherwise google a patch/crack not an emulator but you wont find that here, there are many sites devoted to that crap. If thats not what you ment you probably want a fixed .exe aka a way to run it without a cd?? and it dosent need a cd to run.. But an emulator is usually a way to run a console game on pc.. <---- just if he comes back....

I also recently found out that my processor has hyper thread technology, which is apparently basically the same as dual core. :)

Usually, not always. You can't assume you always know what someone's talking about.

He's likely referring to the Vista 'emulator' to play H2V on XP.

No, h2v dosent need a cd to run for all you people that dont have the game, you can also play it while its installing..

Hyper-threading is not basicly dual core, its pushing 2 threads through one processor, it is better than an old single core but nowhere near as good as a true dual core..
