This is the exact reason why MS would wait until the 8th to actually give retailers the hard copyxheadshotmastax wrote:yeah its been delayed, or else i wouldve already found it on my torrent site

Yeah, I kind of expected that. Microsoft announced the delay only a few days before today (the 8th) and it takes a few days to ship it, so microsoft HAD to already have shipped it if they originally wanted it at the stores by the 8th. I'm gonna wait, I probably wouldn't want a crappy installer, I'd like one more like the halo 1 PC's, all shiny and good-looking. I definitely wouldn't want an old conventional boring installer.HPDarkness1 wrote:On the EbGames/Gamestop site it says May 22nd, But my friend work at Gamestop and told me they had 32 copies in the back. Also I know for a fact he already got it today, because he has Halo 2 GamerScore. I guess we will see >_>
(Lawl, I just had a thought-H2V is only for Vista, so what if Microsoft screwed up so bad that they made the installer in a DOS format (with old Windows 2000-style grey buttons and such) to supposedly accomodate the old windows users? That's how stupid they are anyway )

What? I know it's for vista. I was kidding... Gahh! Nevermind. I said most installers these days have the old gray buttons and backgrounds, like from windows 2000 or something. I'm saying Microsoft is so stupid it'd be easy to make the H2V installer in a windows 2000 format with the ugly gray buttons and stuff instead of a shiny Vista format, while H2V is only for Vista.
It's called Classic, not "Windows 2000," and many users prefer it to the annoying want-to-be-sleek look of the other themes. It's more professional and sharp.0m3g4Muff1n987 wrote:What?
