My Halo 2 Vista crashes Upon Startup

Does anybosy know why my h2v does not start!

It say the progam is nnot responding and will now close right when it start!

Things tried!

Replaced all .maps (backups)
Installed newest XLive Redist
Deleted all profiles, and saves
Re-installed game
Restored PC (System Restore)

With all the above, nothing worked, any help?


I restored to a point it did work (before I installed that modded menu by Neodos, and It worked for ma ny months, now it dont work any help appreicated

Has the game ever worked?
Because if it hasn't, your computer might not meet minimum requirements

Try this site out, its great for testing if your pc meets the minimum requirements for anything

Also even if it does meet the requirements make sure that you have extra to go on top of that. Also make sure that you don't have anything like virus' malware, spyware, adware etc.

Seeing as it worked before and now it doesn't, try install it in safe mode? Disable UAC?
