can u use your xbox live account on pc live?

Tural you said it all. Basically you install halo 2 . Start it. Click live and theres a recover gamertag button somewhere on there.

theres a button to recover a gametag somewhere i know this b/c i recovered mine dont tell me iam wrong!

True, there IS a recover gamertag button, but thats not what its meant for. Its meant for when you LOSE the gamertag. You havent lost it, just input the correct information and you should be ready to go.
