I'd try taking a nap and trying later. Live likes to go down and it probably did when they fixed the silver/gold problem they were having.

It says internet IP address is "not signed in" which sounds like the game can not reach xbox live for some reason...which may be a router firewall or windows firewall.

Also note, your local IP address isn't something you need to black out. We all have them and they almost always have the same range...

This often times happens when something in the game has been altered or the copy is illegitimate. I'm not accusing you. Have you changed any of the files, added a nocd, or anything that would alter the game's functionality with Live?

Does your problem involve having dialup? If you have dsl or better you just have to make sure you have all your updates, your firewall isn't blocking it "my mcafee virus program messes with my connection" and maybe make sure the you forward the port on your router. But a router shouldn't cause a problem. Or maybe you have an XP OS?.....
