Install help

I have installed my copy of Halo 2 Vista on my Desktop and wanted to install it on my laptop, when i install it goes fine.
Then when i try to logon to my live account it connects but asks me to download an update, which starts but never progresses and it says there is an issue go to xbox.com/support which is of course no help

I have downloaded the latest update for it and installed it manually

any suggestions:

Stop the tray and play, take the time to install it right. That has many people with issues. I have only installed it 1 time with tray and play, the 7 other times it failed.

I thought it was the shiznit that you could tray and play but never even tried it because i knew it sounded funny. If your installing halo with alot of your computer's assets in use by playing the game i doubt it would even play right. But anyways i agree with kiwidoggie.

Oh, xbox live does not work with dial-up so if you have it thats your problem.

You at least for Medium no lag ping, to have 3-600KB/s Up and down

I just thought i'd mention the dial up thing because somebody else was complaining about the update thing not working and so i checked at xbox.com and it stated very clearly, DOES NOT SUPPORT DIAL-UP. Who has dialup anymore anyways.
