Well, I'm not sure if it's possible with Halo 2's editing kit, but in the Halo 2 Xbox main menu, it's just a shader that you have to disable.

They locked down everything and so far the people with the real skill haven't been releasing anything they create (to help with the reverse engineering stuff...) Jahrain is an exception though... he wants to further the community NOW rather than further the community when he sees fit.

In my opinion all of the apps created by these people who wish to further the community should be open sourced. but...
