Please help me with my ASS problem...
Alright, I followed a tutorial video I downloaded perfectly, I exported the map from max to ass, I loaded up map editor, and tried compiling the ass file. I got an error. I then remade the map, perfectly to the tutorials that came with the editor. Got the same error, here is what the console says:
--- mylevel.ass
proccessing environment geometry...
### ERROR unable to parse any materials
### ERROR structure import pipeline failed for scenarios\multi\mylevel\mylevel
press any key to continue...
yeah, I'm running vista 64bit home premium. My pc has 2gb ddr, and a 3.0 ghz amd dual core proccesor. I got 350 gigs of hdd space free.
I exported the ass file in the same folder as the max file which is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo 2 Map Editor\data\scenarios\multi\mylevel\structure\
Anyone know what I am doing wrong? maybe i'm not linking correctly when I link the box to the origin node... I'm going to try again later tonight.

i usually get that error, when i dont link the +sky and the bsp correctly, remember
1. Click the arrow icon, then the box or w/e your bsp is itself
2. click the link button and click select by name select +sky and click link.
that should fix it, also dont forget to add materials to your bsp, if you want to get it quick in game just to see the structure, the just type f_im flat_light_scratchy its a shader bungie gave us.
