this may be a dumb question, but are halo 2 vista maps compatible with the version of the game?

if not, will be there be any hope in the future for an app to convert them for use on Halo 2 xbox? just like Halo ce>pc that made it possible to convert a CE map to PC. that would be outstanding if that ever happens.

No they aren't but im sure somebody is working on it now, and when it happens that means Custom Halo 2 maps made from scratch.

i belive detox is working on new halo 2 map editor, which will include that

It's not a big deal if everyone knows what he's working on - most of us aren't going to bother him about it (unless he finishes it and never releases it, and shows screenies everywhere of him playing Uplift on xbox. Then I think we'll have to kill him :P ).
