He probably was thinking of when Microsoft mentioned cross-platform games in general, not Halo 2. There will be games where you can play with your buddy in the next room...

I thought that is what you were saying, but I assumed you knew that was false.

Halo 2 Vista does not support any cross-platform at all. No system link, no Live. It will only be able to play with other PCs.

It bugs me like hell. It would be a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing to have cross-platform games (different prices between a gaming computer and an XBOX/360).

Another thing is that it would be easy to mod H2Vista.

elites don't get active camo on MP, chief doesn't get flashlight on MP

elites get shot in the head easier, chief wins out in the mp battle

Also, Elites are much harder to shoot from behind than a Spartan is.

There would be no reason for those things in MP; and Elites are just gay to play, story-wise I think they are bad@$$!
