to block a plasma pistol you need to dule wield and when some1 shooting at you jest trow the weapon and the shot will hit the weapon.

Oh yea I used to do that. Sam with odd ball, I wonder if they fixed that in Halo 3 or maybe it didnt need to be fixed.

You can melee it as well as stick it with a plasma grenade and blow it up.
