If used correctly machines can be used to make amazing maps and im going to show you how.
The attachment at the bottom has an indepth tutorial(with pictures)on how to add machines to your map and spwan them.
It also has a list of 20 of the most useful machines with pictures of them and a brief description.
The patch here,
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MCR3YRIH, is a patch for headlong that contains all of the machs.
How to get the machs from the patch you appied to headlong into your machine folder so you can use them in your mods.
1. Apply the patch to headlong
2. Open headlong in entity
3. Go to the mach tag
4. Click on the mach you want and check recursive and parsed
5. Then hit save
Enjoy!
Here is the download for the collection editor:

it wasn't on my mac

but it worked on my windows
and can anyone please make both of these document into a HTML file. it would save me from switching bios on my computer, cause i dont have MS word on my windows
EDIT: i requested something... i saw the this topic had more than 20 more viewing's then when i posted this. and noone did anything.
so i decided to do it my self. I had to go out of my way of modding and switch bios, etc. To do something so simple. Since it is useful to other people here is the download with this tut as a HTML file,
These are for those that don't have Microsoft word
Download
- MAST3R, if you dont want these i will take them off

thats cool.....i made a folder with pictures of all good machs from every map too..but dont know why i dont share it with u
good idea....
EDIT:
I saw u used the collection master in ur tut...one question
the yaw pitch roll system in this app...is it proper? in entity u know its a bit strange...in the bsp viewer the looking good, but in game the have a other angle.......very hard to move things with pitch and roll...ok, i know how to fix it, but it needs so much time...

What do you mean by fixing it?
You can make it perfect by writing the coords and not by the sbsp viwer byt if you know how to fix that YPR problem on the sbsp viwer then tell us

In the collections master the yaw works but pitch and roll probably dont work properly. I havent used the pitch and roll that much because it usually screws up.

ok....i hate this YPR system....that *****
about the fixing, normaly yaw works perfect and the rest is very crazy..after u placed it in the viewer, u need to change it again in the metaeditor.....sometimes its easy, sometimes it is horrorible.....my only hope is..someone can fix this **** in the viewer(entity or what ever)

If you mean what original map they came from then just about every campaign map and a couple MP maps. But if you mean how do you get them to use them you download the patch for headlong and you save them (little tut on first post and in the tutorial)
