I was playing around with bipeds the other day, and i found that, if you disable the "Destroyed after Dying" flag under Biped/infection form in HMT (with phenoms 60 pack) they have some cool death animations.

Really? that's cool, might be something Bungie left out.
Like the other AR melee animation.

Here you go. I don't think it is a death animation though. They look like they just go stiff like that because they don't have a death animation.

hmmm
i have no idea how i did it
but when i first found this, they had like actual animations, and would like flop around if they died in the air... will try to.. wait.. you might have to turn off the "Spherical" flag in [bipd] (or so i believe). one of those flags does something to make it so he has more animations.. weirdly enough.

thats simple obviously they do not blow up because you checked dont destroy after dieing...

actually, it's not an animation
when they died in that video, there was no animation created...so the bodies just froze up
this also happened when a guy was hacking halo 2 and found a "hunter" version of the flood group of files hidden on the disk and used them in his game....there were, however, no death animations created and therefore they just froze up when they killed him
you basically figured out how to remove a death animation GG

it looks like they have an animation, but really it's because they're programmed to move their tentacles when they fly through the air. they don't have an actual animation
