instant flag CAPTURE?!? no standby/dummying

yesterday on XBC i was playing a game of 5 vs 5 CTF Coag. one of the guys on my team was saying that he can capture the flag whenever he wants. i said to him yea right! in the middle of the game. Then he said...watch this. i followed him to the top of OUR base and he sai "look at me" all of a sudden, the other teams flag appears in his hands and he threw it at me. HOW THE HELL DID HE DO THIS? i dont condone cheating. but im just curious on how the hlel he did this. Any info is appreciated. Today, someone took our flag in coag and all of a sudden, they ran faaaaast as hell to their base with our flag...WTF???

They could have been using modded Xbox's.

most likely. my box is modded as well but still, how do u do this??? i thought u couldnt use mods online

He was using Xbox connect, which lets you play mods online.

the weird part is that he wasnt the host...so how can u make a mod to capture the flag whenever?

Things like grabbing radius, walking speed, and flying warthogs are all client side and don't require you being the host.

Hey bakko, would you happen to know which mods are client side mods and which ones are remote side? as u stated, item pickup radius, walking speed, jump height, flying hogs are client side. ammo, projectile swaps, skins, meta swaps etc...are those remote side? list any others you know please. thanx
