
Hello and welcome to my MUCH anticipated release of my DeathIsland mod, though not well known on halomods it's still worth your attention, I promise.

This mod was made in my interest of turning away from the normal, dare I say boring game play of Halo PC.

I began in search of the 'perfect' gameplay; fun, addicting, intense and fair.
Hundreds of tests and a few public play tests later I achieved just that, or so Ive heard from all my testers and critics.
Play tests on this mod have been known to last forever, you cant tear your eyes away from the screen as your chasing down your enemy in an epic dog fight while dodging Anti Air Cannons, Singularity explosions in mid air and other players.

I have done a huge amount of tag work on every projectile from the various weapons at your disposal and down to splash effects and wind speeds.
Even the particle system of every explosion and more, has been redone and tweaked to show spectacular effects, while, keeping it running efficiently, not lagging up your graphics at the sight of it.

Some projectiles and weapons have been completely reinvented.

All of the scenery on the map has been removed and replaced in more, realistic positions and numbers, some trees have fallen over, resting against rocks or being partially supported by another tree.

I tried to capture the realism in the scenery and well as addictive game play in this mod.

Brief Layout:
Each base is completely spawn protected, no way back in once you've left.
You have three choices for exit, the usual turret and banshee portals, but in addition to that you can choose to take a new teleporter which takes you to the lower deck where the only Light Singularity tank your team has, lies.


The flags are removed from the bases for quite obvious reasons, and have been nicely placed upon the top of the bases.

In addition to all of this, there is a secret room hidden on the map, with a special gun, you will have to find it yourself. =] Good luck.

SIDE NOTE: I thought it might be important to add, hogs and ghosts fly. The main theme from this mod is intense air battles.
The only vehicles that do not fly are the tanks and turrets.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are interested in testing this mod you MUST play it on CTF, maximum vehicles enabled, and normal weapons on map and for spawning. The rest is up to you.

I can assure you, this mod has been vigorously tested in servers with up to 14 players at a time, no bugs, have fun.
