This is mu first skin, keep that in mind. I've pretty much just simplified all the colours, oh and ignore the compass plate, stuffed it up and not included!!

uh lemme guess you kinda went for a halo 3 look and you just slapped a couple solid color over it?
i honestly dont like it. i know its your first but then many people here dont really give a **** either so work on it more and if you did look at tutorials find a different one. maybe pepsi's skinning tutorial.

Probably would've looked nice had you not added the "toon" effect.

It may have been a cool skin, but you initiated it horribly. The lines looks scribbled on, the colors just blobbed on. It doesn't even look finished.

It looks as if it was done in MS Paint, which should be avoided in the future. It simply is overlaying the a few Assault Rifle texture with grey, or it at least looks like that.

If you want a cartoon effect, use something like Photoshop or Gimp and go for a posterized look.

yes you can has paint bucket. downside is you may have to do some cleaning of the paint

Looks cell-shaded. Which, IMO, doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. I like cell shaded...as long as it's done well.

its a good idea, poorly executed, but that is something that is heard allot here....

try doing the same thing, but with more shades and details.

this skin is a no for me.

Good idea and it semi-works but from the hand grip it is....well hideous. Find a way to clean that up and maybe you have a skin.

'Twas done before with everything, and made outstanding. Just keep trying and you'll nail it someday.

Don't be so biased, I'm sure there are plenty of good Assault Rifle skins that aren't Halo 3 related.

I remember when people made skins all the time with designs, *sigh* back in '06. Before Halo 3 came out or was even talked about publicly (Besides all the "OMG WE ARE GONNA HAVE BOATS AND DUAL ASSAULT RIFLES" stuff people liked to say.)
