Remember Laser Tag? You'd get that big bulky body-armor like chest piece and the little laser gun, and you'd go around "shooting" everybody else, that was always fun. I think that it's died down quite a bit, if it was ever big, I personally haven't seen it anywhere anytime recently.

I got to thinking about this, and I had a few minutes to burn, so I threw this together real quick. It's nothing big, just a single rebuilt tag, a few dependancy swaps and a bitmap internalized. What's the result?



The pistol now shoots a bright blue burst of energy, killing anything it touches and sending it flying back a wee bit. All the other guns on the map have been removed, all the powerups have been as well.

The pistol is deadly accurate, shoots at a much lower ROF so you can't just use the good ol' Spray-N'-Pray tactics. If you're up against a better player, you'll more likely then not lose, just as it should be. It never needs to be reloaded.


I know this is an easy mod, but by no means am I an inexpierienced modder, don't fall to the assumption that I'm new here by any means. I'm not asking for criticism because I know it's simple, it's something I threw together in literally 10 minutes.

Hmmm, good idea, sounds fun.

You should have given it a new reticle to make it look like it was shooting dead on.

Edit: Congrats on the first mod ever released.

Someone should make a laser tag mod with a new cyborg collision model so that only the "chestpiece" takes damage or w/e. That'd be BA

I dont consider this a mod really, It took literally 10 minutes and absolutely no skill. So I still havent released one. Good Catch though.

This is a pretty clever idea. It's a bit funny, in a game where killing you enemies is the primary target, people are making into a game of paintballs or laser tag.

I'm still waiting for an airsoft gun mod.

Add a positive selection to your poll, because I'm sure some people like it.

Nice idea, however, I feel as if it could use more. It seems a bit empty.
Other than that.. Cool.

make the vests, and change blue team to green team


remodel the pistol to look like a plastic box... or just use the AR and remodel it a bit
