Bare with me... Its bloodgulch at night, or its bloodgulch with no sun. My whole idea was trying to make the game play more stealthy. Your on a asteroid in its crater next to mars.
1. dark map, all new bitmaps, new weapons, new projectiles(lazers,bullets etc...), more cover, dynamic lighting.

because I was making it for a friend that doesnt know anything about modding, this is why it is a exe. The finished one will be normal, but its a rebuild so it couldnt be a ppf.

sorry, I am NOT downloading an 80MB .exe file. I have enough spyware on the computer as is, im not taking any chances. Its not that I dont trust you, it's just a bit suspicious.
make a .ppf for the bitmaps and take the rebuilt map, put them in a .zip or a .rar (.rar preferably, smaller size, but zip is fine) and I'll download that.
1. the file extension ".exe" is not a valid compression it is a windows executable file.
2. redo the clouds and the planet. they are crap. seriously. if i can see pixels i don't want to play it in Halo.

4. macs read ".exe" as a unix executable file. it will not execute because it is not written in unix it is written in DOS
5. i would like to see the program that you used to make that.
6. if your friend is not knowledgeable with modding why didn't you just give him the ".map" file.
7. the only maps that are over 80MB are either campaign or they have a crap load of stuff in them.

it is because its a compression format you can un compress it with stuffit 12 apple+u with the stuffit menu item open and it will un pack the maps <_< bitmaps and the bg map are in it <_<
Looks pretty cool. The only thing I don't like too much is the threshold skin. It's pretty cool, but the big.. thing going horizontally across it looks really weird. Otherwise it's pretty good.
