It looks like someone threw up on blue. Sorry. But really, it's kinda bad, I would suggest trying harder on the next one you make.

checked the dds in PS and it looks like a bunch of mixed filters were used on it.

gj on learning how to inject your own skins but next time spend more time actually skinning the weapon then adding a global filter to everything.

Ok, just making sure you weren't using paint.

Don't worry about it too much, everyone starts somewhere, and hell, I still can't make skins for crap. I can do a lot of other stuff very well, thats just something I can't get a hang of. Keep trying, and If you get good at it, go with it, and if not, try something else.

Doing the actual modding might be what you're good at, or maybe you'll get good at modeling, or whatever else. Just find what your good at and stick with it.

Odd, took me a day to find a cruddy skin. Seriously, work on it a lot more. Don't do 5 minute jobs like some people do on this forum. Try getting another trial of photoshop and work on skinning. A good can take a while and every detail counts.

If you want a pistol that looks truly burnt, taek the standard texture and apply a black or dark grey clouding effect to it.

Keep it in mind next time.
