Ok this is the first model i have ever ever done. Please dont kill me. Umm, remodel of the shotgun if u cant tell. Skin is from another mod im currently working on and is not included but if u want it ill post it. I dont see many models with tp and mc doesnt hold the shotgun right without third person models so i included those. PICS:

try making like the whole thing look wooden except the pump handle thing...make that black. (and have more detail on the wood.)

alrighty, thanks for the opinion, oh and if u read the post it said the skin is for another mod i am currently working on. So in other words, i havent bothered to make a skin yet. But ill get around to it sometime. Ill try the wooden idea of yours. Thank you andrew_b

yeah lol, i guess. Haha i rmemeber back when i use to think i was 1337 because i could projectile swap and make log mods. My friends thought i was good too XD. Haha, those were the days.

damn straight. I showed my friend all sorts of high level mods and stuff and he was like "yeah, that's pretty cool (w/e)"
and then I made the shotty shoot fuel rod pulses and I suddenly became a god.

haha yeah i hate that. Im like, im working on a massive mod right now. And i show them and there like, that took you 2 weeks? Do something cool like pistols shooting tanks bullets or make flying hogs. Lol, it is true though, i love making a good old fashioned hmt mod every once in a while. They are so much fun.

EDIT: Although i love the late night post, or any time of day new post, and waiting for new people to reply, but its 1:38 am here and i need to start going to bed earlier, so im out. Ill see how many posts this racks up tomorrow. Hope other people like it as much as you guys did

man...i introduced my friend jesse to moding... when i showed him my first mod video....he wat like holy shete,man wat the fack....and then i introduced him to alsorts fo things...it was awsomewhen i was realy new to this....its a fun learning expirience...

Oh I know exactly what you mean. I've showed my friends my 3D models, it drives me nuts when they're like "that took 5 hours?". Guess some people just don't understand the work that goes into some things.

Anywho back ontopic. Well, I congradulate you for not having pulled vertices anywhere, a common mistake for even the "senior" remodellers. It's not anything exceptional, or hard to do, but I must admit I like it. I think it's just because back in the day before I started 3D modelling, I always wanted to do that with the shotgun. I think you may do well trying full out start from scratch modelling, you should try it out. Good luck in your learning experiance

looks cool, but the barrel needs to be longer if its a pump action

Pretty good for a first, but the fp looks a little stretched... and the skin is a little... eh.

Well think about it. If they don't know how to do the stuff, they don't realize how much work you have to put into something, right? Lol, I always make PMI mods and stuff and my clan buddies will be like 'Okay.. thats cool.. how about you make the warthog go super fast again!!'

Anyways, thats a pretty nice model. I've always thought that the shotgun was a bit stubby, I bet it would look great if you increased the length on that. Then again, maybe it is just me. Who knows?
