Meh, nothing grand, or even slightly special, but heres a slightly modded
skin for the Warthog (turret not included)

This is my first skin for anything Halo related, so go easy ;)

That's actually a pretty f-ing sweet skin. I love the attention to detail you have there. The only reason the wheel looks funny is because the model of the warthog wheel has a little bump there, so that can't be fixed without a remodel. Great job! 10/10 :D

Thanks for the comments, and yeah I noticed how bad the wheels look
I was going to try and get a set of modded wheels ingame, but I'm far
from knowing how to do such a task.

Heres a picture of how they look, no texture mapping support in the program
I used to mod the wheel in.

Hey, thanks!.

Currently I'm looking for a program that can convert the .obj files that HMT
exports so i can try to get my modded wheels into Halo.

but for now heres a pic of them in another game (Carma2)
each wheel is only 1555 polys each

what to you mean.. by "convert"
When you import the models you import the .obj models..

The meaning "convert" would be that I need to convert the file format to
another format other than the obvious .obj format...

I.E. OBJ>DXF so i can then see how the wheels are all set up, place my
new wheels inplace of the old one's re-convert it back to .obj and then
import the newly modded wheels back into Halo

I don't think they will spin if you do that.

Well, damn. It's worth a try though.

All I'll really be doing is placing the new components on top of the
old wheels. hopefully it will work

you cant import a model with more verts than the original model, so you cant add new wheels to the warthog without converting it from CE (im 90% sure)

nice skin.

So what would I have to do to convert from CE?
And how would that allow me to import a model with more verts into halo?

Or do you mean converting it too CE?

And if I can't import a model with more verts, how about less?
