Modifying members work

Ive seen latly an increase in members taking other members mods and modifying them slightly and call it thier own. Even with giving credit, the original author may not of wanted thier mod modified.

So from now on, if you want to modify someones mod. Take someone skins or models, you must ask permission from the original author. The author has 24 hours to say its ok for you to use thier items. If they dont approve, the mod will be deleted.

Prefixes

by Kirk
Starting immediately, topics are now required to have prefixes attached to the topic name within 24 Hours of their posting (warning may be posted in thread) or they will be Deleted.

Some examples of a prefix:

Map:
Misc:
Skin:
WIP:
Model:
UT: (stands for Utilities)

If your topic does not have a prefix, your topic will be deleted. We will NOT add one for you.

Some people only like skins, while other people enjoy mods with new models included. Adding a prefix takes only a second, and it helps differentiate the mods for better organization and a more professional appearance.

New rule, effective immediately.
All CE converted maps to PC or Mac must be posted by their original authors. Any topics with maps in them now have been removed, so please don't repost them. If you want to convert maps and talk with other people through PMs, AIM, whatever, to coordinate a game, that's fine, just don't post maps here. We would rather stay safe with CE map authors than to have unnecessary drama later.
