Instead of doing that, you should lurk moar. You have to learn what people like, and what people hate. If you take a picture you drew in the fifth grade, and tried to sell it as a million dollar piece of art, it wouldn't exactly work well now, would it?

We all started somewhere in modding so, be a grown up, take it on the chin, say thank you for your time and keep going. Browse the forums, learn techniques and then post some more mods.

As always, not everyone will like what you do.

That was what i was getting at, i did download it and try it out, and it wasn't really black gulch just black sky.

Suggestions. Put some fog in, new scenery, take away infinite ammo, null out the sun, just plenty of things that could be done here. you can turn this into a cool mod, just not the way it is now. And what kind of mods i like to see, well i like to see mods like my SSG map foggy, snipers, Lots of trees some vehicals

I cant say im the worlds best modder, i can create a descent mod, but yet when i post and i want to know what people think i Go this is my first mod i not its kinda lousy but what are some way i could improve it? are there any tutorials i can have to understand the programs better? Its words you should learn to use when you post a lousy mod... i am at least going to give you a 2/10 because you got going good. You understand the basic now.... 1 for HMT swaps, and 1 for the skin try a bit more, try PMI there should be a tutorial in the tutorial section if you need to learn, pmi in mods can do you s much more and make it look so much more impressive.

Sorry for being a complainer but i hope you can see what i say is just for you to understand perfection takes time.

I think you should have said, "Is it just Bungie good, or is it actually good?"

Well Bungie are infact a Really good games company! They just set the bar SO high on Halo 1 then Halo 2 had to me go amazing. The Multiplayer on Halo 2 was so fantastic but the Campaign wasn't amazing, but i still loved it. On Halo 3 the campaign was better, but the multiplayer was a mixture, the increased weapon switching and lack of Combox as "BxR" it maked MLG lack a alot. But Forge, Theater and the Matchmaking option was really good! But over all the Halo Franchise is together AMAZING!

I thought Halo's maps were all much too lacking. Too linear, too bland, too copypasta. Also there are tons of texturing errors all over the place.
That's what I mean when I said that. Well, it is just my opinion. Back on topic.

Not much done here, but I won't get mad at you. I got flamed for the same thing, just look up Assault on the Control Room Mod V1 in the downloads section!

Maybe a bit more skinning on the scenery, but hey, we all gotta start somewhere! ^_^

Your judging this only game far too harshly, this is a game made in 2001. You can't judge it by today's standards, Halo is an amazing game for its time.

I have a life and can still make remodels. I've lettered 3 times in track, so having a life is not an excuse for making bad mods. But hey, we all started somewhere.
Say, if you made this whole map look like it had just been ravaged by a giant fire, it would look pretty cool and be appropriate to the name as well.
